Architectural Design Elements & Principles
Part 1 and Part 2 of Project 1 requires me to select one out of six of the ordering principles: Axis, Symmetry, Hierarchy, Datum, Rhythm & Repetition, and explore the selected principle by making models while incorporating the primary elements: Line, Point & Plane.

After some research and understanding the concept of design elements and principles, I decided to pick Rhythm as my ordering principle and began making models. Below are pictures of three different models, sized 100x100x100mm, with each model containing the same ordering principle, Rhythm, and one distinct primary element.
Model 1 : Rhythm + Line
Material used: White modeling board
Model 2 : Rhythm + Point
Material used: White modeling board
Model 3 : Rhythm + Plane
Material used: White modeling board
FINAL MODEL
Part 3 of Project 1 requires me to create a model to portray my selected ordering principle, Rhythm, with the application of two/three primary elements, whereby I decided to combine elements of Plane and Line. Below are pictures displaying my final model of Project 1.
Model 4 : Rhythm + Plane & Line
Materials used: White modeling board & Perspex
Tattoo Stamps
Part 4 of Project 1 requires me to produce four 1:1 tattoo tamps from Part 3. The tattoo stamps below, sized 100x100mm, monochromatic and rendered with ink, are drawn based on the final model above.
